How do I calculate hydraulic pump flow?
Pump flow equals displacement (cc/rev) times shaft speed (rpm) divided by 1000. Example: a 45 cc/rev pump at 1,800 rpm delivers 45×1800/1000 = 81 L/min. Actual flow is reduced by volumetric efficiency (90–97%).
Q [L/min] = V [cc/rev] × n [rpm] / 1000
