Sizing calculator
How do I size the required motor displacement?
Multiply required torque by 20π and divide by available differential pressure. Example: 400 N·m at 160 bar system pressure needs 400×62.8/160 ≈ 157 cc/rev → select a 160 cc class motor.
V [cc/rev] = T [N·m] × 20π / ΔP [bar]

Allow for mechanical/starting efficiency — one size up is the safe choice.
